no such thing as publicity

I asked a (cellphone) company if a phone that is due to be released would be available for "review": I use the phone and the service it's tied to, and publish information about it (video/audio, blogs, print, etcetera). Here's the response I received:

"Just read a review online. There must be some out there."

I should parrot what others have said, didn't say, tried, didn't try, missed...

I'm shocked. The responder doesn't "get it". Oh, well...I'll just promote more what your competition will provide.
