Charlie Harris, owner of Charlie’s Comic Books (5445 E. 22nd St.), was nominated for a Will Eisner Spirit of Comics Retailer Award, to be bestowed during Comic-Con International...The retailer award honors a store owner who supports “the comics art medium both in the community and within the industry at large”...he can’t tear himself away from his business long enough to attend the ceremony in San Diego on July 25.
